Emotional processing 101


Emotional processing 101. 

When we feel a “difficult feeling”, it’s important at times to step back, defuse, hold space, and differentiate whether this is our feelings or the feelings of others.  

One may have to learn these skills in order to have some level of “control” over how we process those feelings.  

In counseling work, this is extremely difficult for many of the folks we see.
