How to overcome unhelpful feelings


To overcome an unhelpful/inaccurate fact or piece of data, one has to find another more compelling fact to challenge that data.

It’s difficult when it comes to dealing with feelings isn’t it?

To overcome an unhelpful feeling, one has to at times find another more compelling feeling to ”neutralize”, “wrap up” or “displace” those unhelpful feelings.

That’s why cultivating feelings of hope, certainty, compassion, gratitude, playfulness, curiosity, openness, acceptance, enthusiasm, and optimism are all very beneficial in order to navigate this difficult “feeling mind” space.
