As Family Doctors, we see a lot of folks driven by fear don’t we?
What we value the most may create the most fear for us as well.
In ACT Acceptance Commitment Therapy, framing it as “our values” with which we need to move towards, may give us the courage and another more compelling emotion to take action in that direction despite our fears.
This will then create a new experience and a shift from “fear driven” to more “value driven”.
I wonder if you can relate.
