How to manage our emotional reactions through critical feelings with thinking

As humans, we have all reacted emotionally in unhelpful ways haven’t we?  

Part of “critical feeling plus thinking” is to be aware THAT our emotional reactions are often a reflection of our own internal rules, values and beliefs. It’s what has been conditioned in our thinking and feeling minds. It’s not simply due to the external “triggers”.

If we can be honest about those and explore whether there are “errors” in our own internal rules, values and beliefs for a given context, we may be able to let go or solve what was unsolvable before.

If there are no “errors” great. But if there are, it’s an opportunity for us to defuse from them or change them.  

Otherwise, it will continue to impact our biopsychosocial health.
