Learning how to “zoom in” and “zoom out” from our thoughts and feelings is very important


The ability to “zoom in” and “zoom out” from our thoughts and feelings are like the ability to press harder on the gas pedal or releasing the pressure off the gas pedal. 

When we ”zoom into” our thoughts and feelings, there is an urge or compulsion to act.

When we “zoom out” from our thoughts and feelings, there is less of an urge or compulsion to act.

So without the ability to “zoom in” and “zoom out”, life will get pretty messy.
