Learning how to hold space for our uncomfortable feelings
I’ve been teaching my kids to “hold space” for uncomfortable feelings like disappointments or frustration by simply say, “hold space”.
I’ve lost my cool the other day and they reminded me to “hold space”.
It’s so hard for this 48yo to “hold space” at times, so how can we expect our kids to be great at “holding space” straight away.
So we have to hold space for that too!
