Helping our patients to ask better questions for a better outcome

In counseling, we often try to help folks to consider asking better questions, or at least, different questions to their usual habits.

Instead of asking what’s wrong with others or worse still, what’s wrong with me, ask what’s wrong with this interaction.

What’s wrong with this dynamic?

What’s the mismatch between the outside world and me as an individual?

Am I in the right environment for me or my personality?

What’s the beliefs and biases do I have that make me perceive things in this particular way?

The answers to these questions may give us a better guide to move forward with a different outcome.
